
Background & Context
Improving domestic resource mobilisation is a priority for both the Government of Kenya and the British High Commission Nairobi. The purpose of this project is to support the Kenya Revenue Authority to design and implement priority organisational changes as identified in its 9th Corporate Plan. This will be done by providing strategically targeted technical assistance, including expert advice, analysis and capacity building. It will complement UK and other development partner investments in digitisation and systems upgrading

Objective
This Intervention seeks to support the KRA to implement its change management strategy that will support KRA leadership, management and staff to transition from the current state to the desired digitally transformed environment. The change management programme will accelerate adoption, utilisation and operationalisation of digital transformation solutions into KRA processes and operations while minimising the impact on day-to-day operations and any managing resistance. The programme will broadly target capacity building initiatives in new and difficult taxation areas in Kenya such as MSMEs and upskilling in key tax administration areas .
