Delivering technical expertise programmes to modernise public financial management in developing countries
PFRC regularly announces new opportunities for members of its supplier network to bid for contracts to deliver technical assistance interventions across a wide range of geographies and thematic areas
The Public Finance Resource Centre (PFRC) is part of the UK Centre of Expertise for Public Finance. It is designed to help partner countries access technical expertise. The PFRC rapidly mobilises technical assistance, responding to demand from partner countries. It is managed by Adam Smith International, the Managing Supplier.
Members of the PFRC supplier network can bid to implement PFRC’s medium- and long-term technical assistance interventions. We regularly advertise opportunities so that suppliers in the wider market can stay informed on opportunities within the PFRC supplier network.
Short-term interventions, lasting 6 months or less, are directly implemented by ASI, the Managing Supplier of the PFRC.
The PFRC delivers technical assistance interventions in a wide variety of developing countries, ranging in scale and complexity. Some interventions are very small, for example we sometimes deploy individual experts to conduct scoping or provide strategic advice to a ministry. Others can be large multi-year interventions that advise on a broad range of public financial management and revenue reform issues.
The PFRC is constantly working to expand and diversify its supplier network. If your organisation has experience in delivering technical assistance in public financial management, we would like to hear from you.
Registration is a simple process in which you provide basic information on your track record in delivering public financial management expertise in developing countries.
Are you a consultant with expertise in PFM or revenue reform? We invite interested experts to share their CV’s with us on the email link below. Your profile will be saved in our database, and we will reach out if a relevant opportunity arises within PFRC.
